Toelichting van de fotograaf bij 22 mei 2024 :
Aan het eind van de middag, liep utility vessel WADDENSTROOM (type Damen MultiCat 3713 - DP 2) van Van Wijngaarden Marine Services de Nieuwe Waterweg binnen, afkomstig uit Guyana via tussenstop Las Palmas onderweg naar Moerdijk. Foto’s zijn genomen, varend op de Oude Maas, bij het bruggenhoofd van de voormalige Barendrechtsebrug, vervolgens in de bocht bij Kuipersveer en tenslotte bij het passeren van Puttershoek. Het grappige van de foto, schuin van voren genomen bij Kuipersveer, is dat nauwelijks opvalt, dat de WADDENSTROOM daar in de bocht wordt opgelopen door een tankschip.
